Is latency good once the connection is established? Speed tests in the kB/s seem promising, but for interactive use that seems like the determining factor.
Also, slightly meta: What is this web ... app(?)? Looks like a git frontend?
I tested with on my A500, accelerator disabled:
- from start to password prompt less than 50s.
- typing is ok, even filename completion
- midnight commander needs ~4s to print the screen, even the mouse works
=> responses are a tad slower than in a normal CLI but acceptable

With accelerator it's almost perfect.
