Why $30B in settlement money goes unclaimed – and how I started fixing it (claim.watch)

I recently learned that billions in class action settlement money goes unclaimed every year because the filing process is intentionally complicated.

Out of curiosity, I started exploring how much could be automated.

I ended up building a small system that:

checks what products/services you use

matches it against open class action settlements

generates the required forms

auto-fills data

digitally signs

and submits the claim

It’s surprising how much of the workflow is repetitive boilerplate.
