I’ve built https://videome.video , a fully open-source, privacy-first video meeting app that requires no account, no emails, no cookies, and stores no personal data.
I wanted a lightweight alternative to Zoom/Meet/Teams that:
- doesn’t require registration
- doesn’t track you
- doesn’t store recordings
- is simple enough that one person can run and maintain it
- can be self-hosted easily
With Cloudflare RealtimeKit maturing, it finally became possible to build a real-time video chat experience without heavyweight infra.
