China leads research in 90% of technologies (nature.com)

As much as this is not surprising, the extent to which China is in the lead (90%, if it's true) is shocking nevertheless.

It's shocking because technological leadership gives you a political edge, too. In the free world, this must be a concern.

It's the Chinese Millenium. The age of the engineer, not the capitalist.

Not surprising if you collectively stopped investing into your industries, your education, your infrastructure... your future.
