Ask HN: Is the antigravity web site high CPU on your OS?

3 points by newsoftheday ↗ HN
Go to https://antigravity.google/, there is a cool animation playing. I'm on Ubuntu Linux Desktop using KDE Desktop and a AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core Processor based machine, Chrome and "top" shows the page uses over 100% CPU consistently. It is high CPU on Windows or Mac?

Edit: I use an nVidia RTX 3080 GPU.

I have an old quad core AMD A10-7850K with IGP running Linux and Firefox. The page uses about ~35% CPU idle and 50% scrolling. The performance is not smooth at all and scrolling is pretty choppy but not unbearable. Hopefully the text editor doesn't need as many resources.
