Are we going to see a spike in offshore hiring in 2026?
I have a lot of contacts in Hyderabad, India and it doesn’t seem like any of them are really worried about their jobs. Haven’t heard of any layoffs there. With additional GCCs being built out I do think there will be more offshoring.
I would suggest editing the title to include “without a valid H-1B visa stamp”

This isn’t really a change from previous years (this is different from September when companies were having their employees emergency-fly back to the US as they didn’t know if even valid H-1B visa holders would be let back in).

... due to longer processing times, which makes the title a lot more mild sounding had they included it.
Entering the country under these conditions has always (since early 2010s anyways) been iffy.
