Russia patents space station designed to generate artificial gravity (space.com)

i do hope these things get made sometime. so futuristic :D its weird to me they can patent it while it seems sich a common idea but i guess thats scifi mostly and the technicalities will be extremely tedious (and thats what get patented?)
