Munich's surfers foiled again as authorities remove access to famous river wave (theguardian.com)

There is one of these in Montreal, the city has put up some changing cabins and signage for it, it appears very popular - I don’t surf but regularly see lots of people there.

It was a great place to watch people do wonders riding the waves, really a sad day to see it vanish again...

The surfers on the wave were amazing to watch. Very sad to see government controlling everything in our lives.
