Would you still celebrate New Year's Day, if it wasn't a day off?

I wonder how many people would actually celebrate New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day, if they could choose whether they wanted to have a day off on New Year’s Day, or they could have it whenever they wanted.

The same question goes for other public holidays, like Christmas, Passover, Independence Day, etc.
