I’ve been building small tools in public over the last few weeks, mostly to solve my own problems around product launches and visibility.
Today I crossed a small but meaningful milestone: $107 in total revenue from these tools.
Nothing viral, no ads — just shipping, iterating, and sharing in communities where founders hang out.
What I learned so far:
Shipping fast > waiting for “perfect”
Distribution matters more than features early on
Even tiny tools can make money if they solve one clear problem
Feedback from early users is gold
Happy to share what worked, what didn’t, and answer questions about how I built or marketed them.
Would also love feedback from the HN community on how to improve or what to build next.
