This is something I sense when I read AI-generated text, but I don't actually know the distinct characteristics that my brain is catching on to. It reminds me of the uncanny valley sense I feel when looking at something human-like but not-quite-right.

It's impossible to answer this because of confirmation bias.

I only know when I'm reading AI text when it's bad or has that AI feel to it.

If it's well-written, I'll never know that and assume all AI text is bad.
