I’m curious how others think about dating safety before a first meeting.

Friends of mine have used everything from Google searches to reverse image lookup, but it’s inconsistent and often incomplete. At the same time, anything involving anonymous reports raises obvious concerns around abuse and moderation.

For those who’ve thought about this space: - What feels reasonable vs overreaching? - What safeguards would you expect? - Where do you draw the line between safety and privacy?

I’m asking partly out of personal curiosity and partly because I’ve been working on a small project in this area.
