Show HN: Auto-fix Google Play Store translations that exceed character limits (chromewebstore.google.com)

I built Play Console Translation Assistant, a Chrome extension that fixes a very specific time-consuming problem: Google Play Store listing machine translations that exceed character limits.

When localizing apps, translated titles and descriptions often end up just a few characters too long. Play Console then blocks saving, and the usual workflow becomes manual rewriting, counting characters, retrying, and copy-pasting between tools.

This extension runs directly inside Google Play Console and:

- Detects all available languages in your store listing

- Extracts titles, short descriptions, and full descriptions

- Identifies only the fields that exceed character limits

- Generates rewritten versions that fit within limits

- Lets you review and deselect any changes

- Applies fixes back into Play Console in one click

Nothing is changed automatically. Everything is reviewable before applying.

I’d love feedback on:

- Whether this solves a real pain point for you

- Edge cases you’ve run into with Play Console translations

- Anything that feels confusing or unnecessary

Happy to answer any questions.
