‘“We were there for a check-in and the original officer said, ‘This looks good, I’ll be right back,’” Prokosch said. “And then there was a lot of chaos, and about five officers came out and then they said, ‘We’re going to be taking him back into custody.’ I was like, ‘Really, you want to do this again?’”’
In my view, no immunity attaches to a "law enforcement" officer's knowing violation of the letter or the spirit of court orders.
They're going to continue abusing people, injuring them, killing them and violating their rights because there's no accountability. The administration endorses this behavior.

Dissolve ICE, dissolve DHS, impeach Noem and prosecute and or bar every single ERO agent from future public service.

The administration labelled "the left" domestic terrorists, while promoting and pardoning domestic terrorism. There needs to be serious accountability when the Democrats retake power.
its hard to see how the United States recovers from this administration

This being flagged feels consistent with the attitudes of Silicon Valley and tech leadership generally.
Why do people flag anything related to ice coverage? Ice are literal nazis cracking down on dissent, dont support the administration. You gain nothing for fighting their battles online.

Anyone want to guess what the end game of lawless secret police is? Because I know what happened last time.
I keep telling myself America isn't 1930s Germany, that the guardrails of this democracy will hold, and if they don't, enough of the people will rise up and put a stop to this. That the military won't go along with firing on it's own citizens when and if given that order. That there is some sort of line even for Republicans and the Pentagon that can't be crossed without the current regime will be removed one way or another.
You mean last time in Russia or in Germany or somewhere else?
Reports today of lawyers trying to see their clients in Minneapolis are being told they can't until their clients arrive at a detention center ... that might be as far as Texas. They also couldn't even tell them if their client was still in MN or elsewhere.

It's all just a bunch of illegal garbage.

The courts have to handle each case and plod around, while ICE as a whole operates without consequence ... except to the people they target. It's a clear pattern of practice at this point, but I'm not sure if the courts are brave enough to act.
