Hey! I built AIApplePie over the past few months because I was tired of juggling 15+ sources to keep up with AI news.
It aggregates from various trusted sources (HackerNoon, Bloomberg, The Guardian, ArXiv, etc.) and lets the community vote on each story as either "Exciting" or "Concerning" – which feels fitting given how dual-natured most AI developments are these days.
Key features:
Real-time news feed
Community voting (Exciting/Concerning) with filtering
Save articles for later reading
Clean two-panel interface for quick scanning
User accounts with public profile
The voting system is the part I'm most curious about. Will people find it useful to see what the community thinks is exciting vs concerning? Does it help surface signal in the noise?
Just launched last week, so the community is still small. Would love to hear what you think – especially any feedback on what would make this more useful for staying current on AI.
