After two years of research, planning, and engineering I am launching earsay. It is an iOS podcast app meant to be a pleasure to use. It detects ads 100% on device, limits ad network tracking, and requires no external service or subscription fee.

I have adblocker on my iPhone, MacBook iPad and will pirate content even from places I pay for to get the version I want

I am a hardcore podcast listener, going back to when Rogan wasn’t a household name

Taking ads listens away from podcasts seems dirty to me! There are so few and the are rarely very intrusive on the podcasts I listen to.

If they make less money, they’ll put out less content and I’ll have to drive in the car in silence

I never in a million years thought I’d say I would be anti ad blocking yet here I am saying I stand with the podcasters and their ads
