[–] sylware 7mo ago ↗ It is an xkb and GUI toolkit matter. wayland is just passing keycodes, at best the xkb configuration if I recall properly. All of the standards-based APIs went up in smoke, with Wayland saying "not our problem".Unless you want the compositor to execute everything in trusted shell, there needs to be a way to actually interact with the system.
