Was getting a job ever about your ability? I feel like when I got my current job, I actually was a significantly worse software developer than I used to be, but a much better bullshitter. And yes, nothing about the job is hard and estimates are at least 3-4x more than they need to be, and nobody gives a fuck.
What is the point of this article? What does it actually say, other than 'AI good, criticisms of AI bad'? What am I supposed to have learnt from reading this, other than that the author likes AI?
How i replaced air bnb with claud code and an IRC server

I'm not sure a 10x increase in typing speed makes you a 10x developer.

The slop sickens me. If deep down there still is a part of you that enjoys problem solving and creativity, then you should always do it yourself. The technology still isn't even that great.

I wanted to write a simple midi chord controller for my phone to make music, emphasis on simple. AI can't do it and couldn't even help me on small code fragments, because it doesn't look at the problem through the lens of my artistic creativity.

Vibe coding creates weak men because you reject the deeper meaning behind what you are creating. Vibe coding creates weak men because they can't code.
