Show HN: A WordPress plugin that detects affiliate links that don't convert

1 points by aflwp ↗ HN
Hi HN,

I’ve been running affiliate sites for a while and kept running into the same problem: I could track clicks, but I had no clear way to tell which affiliate links were actually useful and which ones were wasting traffic.

Most WordPress affiliate plugins focus on link management or cloaking. This plugin looks at what happens after the click, using short-return bounces to identify links that send users to poor or misleading destinations.

It works with any affiliate program and runs locally on WordPress, keeping things lightweight and privacy-friendly.

This is a first stable release and I’m mainly looking for feedback from people who run content or affiliate sites.

Happy to answer questions.

yo, so i've been playing around with plugin.new recently - it's this no-code wordpress plugin thing. honestly, it's pretty neat. the ai actually gets what you're asking for and gives you clean code. and the github integration is actually useful, not just a gimmick. you can actually build and develop a plugin over time, not just do a one-off thing. what do you guys think about this approach? anyone else mess around with no-code plugin tools like this?
