Softflation

Thanks to artificial intelligence, we can now produce many more software applications using the same resources.

Even people without programming skills can build their own applications. The result? A much larger number of apps, increased competition, and significant pressure on marketing and sales.

Naturally, this intensified competition leads to lower prices and faster progress. I call this phenomenon softflation.

What is your opinion about this phenomenon?

Feeling this. Built an AI digest tool, found YC competitors, now spend more time on positioning than coding.

My bet: users don't want another tool. They want the outcome— the digest, not the dashboard. Trying this with Daigest.

Softflation = everyone shouting in a crowded room.
