Saw some reports that there were ads that would pay $50 + the ticket for watchers to watch the whole movie in Boston.

I can also see the botted 5star reviews from “people” on rotten tomatoes. Truly a great use of LLMs.

These review sites do have some robust captcha thing before allowing a review to be posted, right?

I usually look at both the critics' reviews and the public's reviews because sometimes I want to see a good movie (critic scores) and sometimes I want to see a fun movie (audience score).

But the public scores are ridiculous for this. They could have made the reviews realistic by at least making the movie sound campy but this is utterly ridiculous

It's not done well in the UK[0]. Given these genuine "verified reviews" maybe we're missing out.
