Haven't LLMs been good at bouncing off ideas since GPT-4? Coming up with feature ideas doesn't seem to have much to do with programming power tools.

But sending off a SotA LLM agent to do research for 30 min+ to gather information, related concepts, products, etc, on any idea is insanely effective for sure. And something that hasn't been possible for all that long, at this level of quality.

You should be looking for problems, not looking for features to add anyway.
Give this man 100 Billion dollars right now
I don't believe this man has gone off-script for a moment in his life
I think this guy is a marketing genius!
I have the impression anything amazes him.

By the way, is the thing about him and his sister a real thing?

The allegations and lawsuit are real, yes.
That was some heavy stuff wasn't it? Like s* abuse or something?
I guess if there's one good thing about the AI hype bubble it's that the AI taught Sam Altman that he's actually useless. Now if the people giving him money would learn that we'd all be better off.
His follow up tweet is… odd.

“I am sure we will figure out much better and more interesting ways to spend our time, and amazing new ways to be useful to each other, but I am feeling nostalgic for the present.”

I don’t know why, but this just sounds very fake and ‘emoting by numbers’.

perhaps he should do himself and everyone else a favour and burst the AI bubble. let the brainrot out of the bubble
Software development is pretty amazing when you see it for the first time.

Very unsurprising that that man felt useless. An amusing way to interpret what that unscrupulous little worm says is to interpret it as the truth.
The quality of comments here is staggeringly bad

Sam Altman was useful before?
