OneDrive also seems to be interfering with successful backup & recovery.

I saw one recommendation to first disengage all local files from OneDrive, before uninstalling OneDrive, then backing up the C: volume after that.

Later upon recovery when the whole OS backup file is redeployed to a formatted partition, after booting the recovered Windows, then an updated OneDrive can be freshly downloaded & installed to resume its cloud operation.
