Co-Founder Material? Join Quad As We Take on Education

All universities have a class portal system to host resources, post announcements, and more. If you’ve ever used one, you might agree with us that these systems are archaic and painful to use. We aim to change that. Quad is a platform built to make the lives of students and teachers easier and more efficient while also saving schools money.

Check out a preview here: http://bit.ly/QuadPreview2.

At its core, Quad gives students an academic to do list (tests, homework, projects, etc) for all their classes in one place. From there, it intelligently ties data together, allows for private collaboration, classmate discovery, and more. We have hundreds of students currently using Quad in a private beta and the response has been fantastic-- students and instructors want more of their classes on it.

We have a lot on our plate so we’re looking to bring on an additional technical co-founder (significant equity and perks of being a YC founder) to our team. Experience with node.js and mobile is desirable but not required.

The market is big-- Berkeley and Stanford pay $1-2 million dollars a year to support their learning management systems (LMS) while companies like Blackboard (the largest LMS company) enjoy revenues of over $500 million annually.

If you are up for the challenge of being a co-founder, send us links with what you’ve built or anything relevant to cofounder@thequad.com. We’ll be in touch. Thanks!
