Assuming a purely Darwinian and corrupt system, I still don't understand why there isn't a rational, cunning US billionaire faction that wouldn't find a way to leverage lots of reps and senators to overthrow an economic arsonists' new money billionaire faction. The former likes more stable, net money long-term but not chaotic money destruction.
This is the evolution of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) which was intended to box in China by uniting all the countries around it, and which trump cancelled on his first day of his first presidency.
Ironic to see it evolve to try to contain the USA and strange not to have that irony noted in the article.
