Hi HN — I built Satisfice.app because I’m a chronic overthinker and kept getting stuck in idea loops instead of shipping.

The problem: I’d get an idea, research it to death, tweak the concept endlessly, and lose momentum before building anything.

What Satisfice does: It helps you pressure-test an idea quickly so you can decide whether to: - ship now - simplify - pivot - or stop wasting time on it

The goal isn’t “perfect analysis” — it’s helping founders move forward with enough clarity to act.

Why the name: “Satisficing” = choosing an option that’s good enough to meet the goal, instead of optimizing forever.

Who it’s for: - indie hackers - side-project builders - founders with too many ideas and not enough launches
