[–] vivzkestrel 4mo ago ↗ - very stupid question: how does an absolute beginner at hardware stuff go about figuring out exactly how these things work?- like identity microcontrollers and microprocessors, figure out what each one is for- identify how to connect to them to read their firmware or bios or whatever, tools needed to do this- what does that data mean and how to actually reverse engineer it- how do you go about learning these things?
