Show HN: AdPipe – Generate 12 Meta ad copy variants from any product URL (adpipe.io)

3 points by edgar_builds ↗ HN
I built AdPipe after seeing how much time agency owners and DTC founders spend writing Meta ad copy from scratch — often reusing the same angles until ROAS drops.

You paste a product URL, pick a goal (prospecting or retargeting) and a tone, and get 12 variants across 4 persuasion styles (direct response, social proof, FOMO, story) in ~30 seconds. Policy-checked, export-ready as CSV or TXT.

No signup required to try it — just paste a URL on the homepage.

Honest status: launched 4 weeks ago, still figuring out who feels this pain most acutely. Agency owners managing multiple clients? Solo founders running their own ads? Both seem plausible.

Would genuinely appreciate feedback from anyone who runs Meta ads on whether this solves a real problem for them.

Thanks — and yeah, you nailed the chicken-and-egg thing. It's exactly as absurd as it sounds.

Here's what I'm actually doing:

1. Running Meta ads for AdPipe (yes, the irony is not lost on me). I'm using AdPipe to generate the ad copy for its own ads, which is at least a decent dogfooding exercise.

2. Manual LinkedIn outreach. Sales Navigator → find media buyers and agency owners → read their profile → write a personalized message. No automation, it's slow.

3. Free preview on the homepage. No signup, no credit card. Paste a URL, see 2 of the 12 variants — removing all friction from the first experience.

4. Reddit/communities. Answering questions about ad copy tools in marketing subreddits, always with full disclosure that I built AdPipe.

Honest status: Launch 5 weeks ago, many people try the free version, 0 paying customers, $0 MRR. The cold start is real.

What are you building? Curious about your cold start experience too.
