Claude Code isn't going to replace data engineers (yet) (rmoff.net)

looks like claude's pretty good at cranking out boilerplate dbt projects but you still need a human (for now) who actually understands the data to keep it from doing dumb stuff like only snapshotting one table because that's literally what you asked for
