The tech exists - peer-to-peer GPU compute.

Plenty of options, many already in deployment.

I don’t think you need a dedicated power grid any more than you would for say refrigerators. Beyond mongering of various types I don’t get the energy consumption take.

For example the idea that AI consumes rare earths isn’t true lmao that’s batteries. Saw that in the article :/
