This thing is super cool! One other use case I can think of, is to use it to check reliability of the fonts that I chose in my designs, only if the option to choose a custom font was given.
I really like this, well done!
I think it could be used as a reading practice for kids who have a hard time reading. It's a wonderful project.

Need to make the reading text longer though for people such as my super human wife that still had 10 seconds (or more) left after finishing.

It tops out at around 550-600 words per minute.

Made a few updates -- lengthened passages, normalized font sizing/spacing, etc.

Also added a step at the front to make it clear (in case it wasn't before) that users should be reading at a normal, relaxed pace. The goal is to test the fonts, not your reading speed.

For improving your speed-reading, that'd be the forked version another commenter suggested. For Margo, you want to read at a comfortable pace
