Ask HN: Where are you getting your AI news from?

Besides Hacker News, I'm wondering where people are finding good sources of AI progression and news. Of course I can read arxiv and such, but wondering what folks have going for them!

Mostly X Follow the main OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI researchers, and the algorithm will bubble up the good tweets.

Also, https://www.alphaxiv.org/ should get an honourable mention.

I run a newsletter on top of Hacker News - basically I make a round up of the best 35-50 links from HN and sent it in a weekly email.

Not always the latest news, since there is a delay between when articles/news are posted here and when I send the email, but for those who don’t have time to stay on HN everyday, might be good.

Here is the latest issue: https://eomail4.com/web-version?p=0fa89b02-4478-11f1-a1da-23...

I have the opposite question:

Where do you get tech/software news that is not about AI?

We have configured google Gemini to get the latest AI news. It just send weekly based email on top AI new
I have moved away from general news sites and mostly stick to TDLR for a daily summary. Also following a few specific engineers on X.
They are so ubiquitous that I have to mostly avoid them in the feeds, rather than look for them deliberately.
instagram or youtube
I use Telegram mostly: AI Post (@aipost), Hi, AI ; and Artificial Intelligence (@Artificial_intelligence_in).

The hard part is filtering out the “everything changed today” tone.

Mostly from reddit, for example Claude AI sub is instant when it comes to news
