How many people have showdead enabled? I am genuinely curious. If unsure click on your username in the top right and look for the showdead pull-down menu option. Showdead allows people to see [dead] submissions and comments.

Note that this is heavily biased for the people that likes to read /newest that also tolerate to see bad [dead] post in case they can find an error and vouch to try to fix it.
