Ask HN: Agents for coding feels like a L2 automation system. Yay/Nay?

If I need to play flappy bird with these agents to get code that's maintainable and avoid validating the entire app/product e2e what's the point?

So I plan the route get the car to the highway and engage the agent and still keep an eye out for a white truck that blends into the sky to avoid crashes.

Why is there a ton of hype? Isn't this gated by human computer bandwidth?
