Ask HN: Why Ask HN has only 14 questions now?

I was wondering that too. Maybe it's because it's harder to clear the threshold from asknew. I remember a blog post saying posts get more votes in general because of the influx of submissions.

It's the AI. Everything gets answered (somehow), no direct questions need to be asked anymore.

(you're right - I was wondering the same thing 1h ago :o) )
