Because tech shapes society. Because not every thread is only for SWEs. Because I used to work in the field (in mktg/biz dev). Because it’s a habit. Because I like the simplicity of this website. Because comments are, on average, better than on most of the web.

Weirdly, this is currently the best available community of like minded individuals ( I do not see myself as a a coder or a hacker, and more of a geek than a nerd;p ).

Not every thread is about tech. Anything that gratifies one's intellectual curiosity.

It satisfies my intellectual curiosity.

Plis, I can't stand low-value/unproductive discussions/trash talk that is omnipresent elsewhere.
