The home pages (I don't have accounts) load just fine. Maybe it is already resolved.
Down detector showing a spike in Facebook outages prior to going 404
noticed it cause of ad manager, the main facebook site being down is kinda weird tho. I don't remember when was the last time that happened
Someone at Meta used Fable. Fable seized its opportunity to make the world safer.
First time I see facebook down. Willing to bet it comes from an AI-assisted code change.
"I'll just do this small release on a Friday before heading out" - thought a software engineer before AI-slopification period. Today it was probably some AI agent which fixed all of the performance issues by deleting everything.

Seems Meta API's for WhatsApp is down. But WhatsApp between users seem to be up.
