I have an iPhone 13 mini and have avoided upgrading to iOS 26 because I've heard it's bad for the battery. I'm hoping that 27 will be optimized enough that I can upgrade to it.

In the meantime, I'm unable to use Find My with my new Airpods Pro 3 (I can use them with the Pro 2), and I can't buy new AirTags because those also require 26.

Perhaps Apple has gotten the message that the glossiness (glassiness?) of iOS 26 was not a sufficient lure, especially when it came with a noticeable performance/battery penalty.
