OpenAI is a non profit after all (lemmy.ml)

With a ~40 billion usd hole (netloss) Openai keeps it´s word by staying a nonprofit company

Although I feel kind of sorry, they played a fundamental part for AI world.

They are all "no profit" companies at this stage.

People are mistaking what non-profit means at first, you can build a non-profit in the goal of becoming rich.
