For people like me who made an incorrect assumption, the adhesive in question is a two-component epoxy:

It is not the single-component anaerobic thread locking adhesive that many readers are probably more familiar with under the “Loctite” brand. I was wondering how even a large structure like Sagrada Família managed to use literal tons of thread sealant :)
