I've applied to YC like... 6 times now. I run a profitable (a little more than ramen-profitable) B2C startup. One of the biggest things that's helped me along so far is other founders, giving feedback, sharing advice and resources, and spreading the word.
Not getting into YC shouldn't prevent us from having access to an amazing founder network.
So I've created a discord startup for early-stage founders to help each other out. It's free, and personally vetted by me for good vibes (low-ego, no-BS). I'm super excited to grow with other people who are searching for a great founder community outside of SF.
