Ask HN: When should we expect DNS-persist-01 in production?

I have been waiting for dns-persist-01 implementation for a while now, and it was said it would enter production in Q2 2026, which is coming to an end. Meanwhile, there's no trace of it anywhere at all, so I am guessing it's getting delayed?

Does anyone have any insider view on what's happening here?

This comment on the 7th of May from someone at Let's Encrypt says that implementation may be delayed until Q3 due to open issues in the specification. That might be what happened. https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/dns-persist-01-deploymen...
