Oh man this is perfect. Nobody in Germany would allow me to practice my German because they all grew up speaking English. 90% of Germans speak English basically perfectly. (Getting propositioned in German by a hooker. I say three words and she replies “Oh, honey we can do this in English”)

I can wait to go there, I’d be free to speak my terrible German and they’d just have to suffer through it because they asked for (demanded) it.
