AI inference is obviously profitable (seangoedecke.com)

AI is obvious profitable in the West --- if you ignore the fact that vendors owe trillions to venture capital.

AI is obviously profitable in China --- if you ignore the fact that China has cheaper (i.e. renewable) energy and government subsidies.

But without ignoring a lot of costs, it really isn't that clear that AI can or will be both useful and affordable/profitable.
