SmartAsset (YC S12) Hiring UI/UX Designer

SmartAsset is looking for an exceptional UX/UI Designer to join our team. SmartAsset harnesses the power of our financial modeling technology to provide simple, accurate, interactive answers to important personal finance questions—and that's where you come in.

A successful UX/UI Designer candidate is a self-sufficient, resourceful, team player and an innovative problem solver. You will be an integral member of the Product Team, where you will create wireframes, write product specs, fine-tune visual design and work with our engineers to build an application that delivers personalized, easy to understand, financial advice.

Responsibilities:

>Work with the Product Team to create wireframes and final product specs

>Interview users and conduct usability tests to ensure intuitive product functionality

>Work with the Tech Team to ensure efficient implementation of product specs

>Design A/B test experiments

Requirements:

>3-5 years experience in interactive design, information architecture or visual design for web applications

>You’re passionate about user experience and designing/building great products

>Strong attention to detail

>Solid portfolio demonstrating a breadth of experience in information architecture, interaction design, visual design as well as a thorough understanding of good design process

>HTML+CSS skills are a bonus
