I have a doctor friend who cheered the Kennedy appointment even while decrying Trump in general.
We broke because I wasn’t a Kennedy supporter but also because you never, ever get in bed with Trump unless you’re a full believer, and even then, he’ll still put you on the chopping block list. No one can have their own agenda and beliefs… Trump only values activators for his own agenda, as inconsistent as it may be.
The irony is when we were college roommates, said doctor friend was heading to naturopathic medical school and he was dating a traditional doctor. They argued because she held that you can change the system from within and his position was adamantly the opposite — you could only really operate truthfully outside compromised systems.
This was never going to end well for Kennedy and MAHA and Kennedy was a bonehead for thinking otherwise.
