I wish that were true, but I imagine the opposite will happen with AI adoption; i.e. I can see things like Electron getting even more popular.
LLMs don’t really change the fact that it still takes more effort to ship native apps, and in my experience…most people simply don’t care, users and leadership alike. It makes me sad, but that’s the reality.
How does it compare to Emacs potential-wise? I'm actually sort of looking out for a replacement (the single thread is starting to kill me now I have agents interacting with it, esp for issue management in my projects org file) and am playing with the idea of porting.
