I fact-checked 15 stats from a 1.2M-subscriber creator against primary sources (hemantpatil.substack.com)

The 85%-networking stat alone has sustained an HN thread before; the GDPval-timeline catch and the STRIP taxonomy are genuinely HN-shaped.

Only one stat was actually made up. The rest were real numbers, just bent. Anyone who cites research for a living has done this without knowing it.
