The title, while well-intentioned, could be mistaken as something about X, fka Twitter, which as a statement would get some feathers definitely riled up. (maybe that was the bait I dunno)
Perhaps A bad platform you control yourself is better than none
The capital X is the English convention for a wildcard or variable; a social network using it in its rebranding shouldn't change the rules of the language :D. If Snapchat changes its name to "none," should the title change? :)
