As a new user here, this is fantastic. Not too over the top, a bit more information in the pictures. I'm digging it.

Love the combination of simple and modern UI over HN. Not sure if this is just a demo or a final form, but I am lagging too much scrolling through the posts.

For HN Glance, perhaps there could be the list/previews column on the left, middle column for full-viewing with the right column as comments. Both 1st and 3rd columns can also be floating, and auto-hide when mouseover on the middle column and show again when mouseout.
